Do you need fluent English to be au pair in the Netherlands?

I have intermediate level in English and would like to know if it is possible to go without having fluent English.

Hi Natalia, to be an au pair in the Netherlands there are no minimum language skills required to get an au pair visa.  In the au pair program prerequisites for the Netherlands you can find more details about the official rules and regulations.  Of course, you should always check with the host family what language they would want you to speak with the kids.
